After installed latest Lockspam 1.6, I find the percentage of spam killed is only 75%, and the percentage of innocent mails killed is 10% with the spam filter level at medium.

But in the newsletter, "The recommended level is Medium, with better half of spam get killed and 1% good mails get blocked. Users thinking Lockspam are harsh to their new mails may choose Low Security Level (More spam sneak in with less than 0.5% good mail get killed); while those who regarding Lockspam are too kind for spam please chooses High Security Level (Over 90% Spam cannot get through, around 5% good mails will be seen as spam)." Why?

PIK and PSK are merely approximation calculated with the figures in the items of "Total Checked", "Lockspam Stopped", "I've Blocked" and "I've Unblocked".

PIK and PSK will not truely reflect the filtering performance of Lockspam, when either of the following situations happened:

1. Users Block or Unblock same emails many times;
   By doing this, PIK will increase and PSK will decrease accordingly. Thus it will make the PIK and PSK not very true to the performance of Lockspam.


2. Users apply the "Run Lockspam Now" function after Reset the figures.
   By running "Run Lockspam Now", the figure in the box of Total Checked will not add. It will be more explicit if you Reset the figures and try the "Run Lockspam Now". You will find it out easily. So, even you have had Lockspam checked your existing folders, the Total Checked number of mails remain what it is. So the PSK will not change, nor will the PIK.

Manual adjustment like Block or Unblock will make the figures even worse, especially you block and unblock a same message many times.
