2. Be skeptical about any and all information in unsolicited e-mail.
3. Report the spammer to the proper authorities whenever possible.
4. Use multiple e-mail addresses to keep spam from getting into your real inbox.
5. Munge your e-mail address when posting it in public. (See Spam Prevention for more info.)

2. Respond to any unsolicited e-mails.
3. Propagate chain letters and hoaxes
4. Click to REMOVE ME! Ever!
5. Give out your e-mail address unless you have to.
6. Post your e-mail address publicly.
7. Choose an easy-to-guess e-mail address.
